Robust outer packaging for lithium batteries up to 40 kg

The LiBa® Pac is a sturdy and reusable outer packaging solution for lithium batteries weighing up to 40 kg. It complies with the requirements of special provisions SV 376 and SV 377 of ADR and is also suitable for prototypes in accordance with SV 310 ADR.

In combination with the LiBa® Bag, it forms a two-stage packaging system with maximum protection: while the LiBa® Bag controls thermal events inside, the LiBa Pac provides the tested outer shell for safe transport. This ensures safety and reliability at Packaging Group I level (X coding).

Technical features & applications

The LiBa® packaging is made of durable steel and designed for repeated use in the transport of dangerous goods. It is approved for batteries with a unit weight of up to 40 kg and tested in accordance with ADR SV 376/377—also suitable for prototypes under SV 310 ADR.

Typical applications include the transport of damaged or defective lithium batteries, the safe handling of prototypes in development departments, as well as the shipment of returns in after-sales or recycling processes. Thanks to its reusability, the LiBa® Pac is not only highly economical but also contributes to reducing packaging waste.
